Anna Satterfield

Having always had a keen interest in capturing a moment to save forever, Anna Satterfield has tried to live her life with a camera in hand since a young age. When the first opportunity to take a formal photography course arose, she jumped at the chance to develop her technical skills using her Minolta X-700 SLR. Now in her third year of Photography at Yorktown High School, Anna has developed skills in all aspects of the process from first capturing the image, to developing the film, then to finally transferring a thought, a moment, a theory onto paper that would never go away.

After spending a summer in New York City at the School of Cinema and Performing Arts working with both black and white, and with digital and adobe Photoshop, Anna moved into the world of digital photography, with a Cannon Rebel XTi to guide the way. Though there is no way to predict where the future will take this young artist, there
is no doubt photography will follow her there.
